Perikarnassis

Perikarnassis is repeatedly cited as the oldest known ancient civilization, located on the "super-isola" of Perikarnassis. Since the Perikarnassis Incident, or their fall, there has been nearly 8,000 years of recorded history. It is unclear what exactly caused this incident; but it is implied that the pale was involved.

The Innocences

From this point forward, the known history of Elysium is heavily centered on the innocences. Not much is known about the isolas outside of innocentic influence, including Seol: an isolationist panisolary west of the Insulinde. There are six elected innocences, though only four legitimate ones are known: Pius, the First Innocence; Franconegro, the innocence of militarism; Dolores Dei, the innocence of interisolary travel; and Sola, the anti-innocence.

Coolpunk Paradise

Coolpunk Paradise is a Zone dedicated to a niche musical genre called Coolpunk. However, over the course of the game, most Coolpunks (or Coolpunk fans) become disillusioned with the movement's commercialization and form a rival genre, Fungus Scene. Its community leader is X_NEO_ICY_X. It is sponsored by Gray's Peak Cola Co. It's bio on the zone page reads "Coolpunk Paradise is the NEW official sleeptime hangout for Coolpunks everywhere. Chill it right!"

Open Eyed

Open Eyed is a Zone designed for pages having to do with "esoteric spirituality, alternative medicine, and deep truths." Despite the strange nature of most of its pages, the only violations found in it have to deal with extralegal commerce; namely involving the CapaCash payment system. On December 31st, 1999, a free download of the "Virtual Shaman" soundscape was added to the zone's header.

Goodtime Valley

Goodtime Valley is a Hypnospace Zone specifically marketed toward adults and seniors, specifically those that are less adept with the modern culture of 1999 and hold more traditional, conservative values. Its preview bio in the list of zones is "Remember the good old days? The great music, home-cooked food, and respectful youth? Relive it all here!" Its tagline is "Goodtime Valley... for those who remember the way things used to be." Its zone bio is "Ever wonder what happened to Home Cooked Meals, Good Music, and putting in a Hard Day's Work? In Goodtime Valley we remember the way things used to be."
